Holders of the Level 5 Diploma are eligible to advance to undergraduate degree programs at various universities. This comprehensive course, totaling 300 hours of study, includes both structured learning and self-directed research, providing a well-rounded educational experience in health and social care.

Diploma Modules and Assignments

The Level 5 Diploma is structured around:

  1. Five Modules, each running for approximately 40 Guided Learning Hours (GLH):

    • Principles underpinning health and social care
    • The management of quality in health and social care
    • Research project
    • Partnership working in health and social care
    • Working with service users with complex needs
  2. Five Assignments corresponding to each module, enhancing both theoretical understanding and practical application.

Additional Study Time

Learners should expect to spend an additional 40-50 hours per module on reading, practice exercises, and self-paced Internet-based research.

Course Delivery

E-Learning Format

The course is delivered through e-learning, with learners accessing recorded classes and course materials from our Online Support System (OSS). This format allows students to study at their own pace within a structured timeframe set by the College Administration to ensure timely submission of assignments.

Prerequisites

To enroll in the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, learners must have completed the Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care or an equivalent qualification.
